History

Herti was established in 1993 as a start-up company with one machine producing two sizes of aluminum caps. Over the years, the company has invested in machinery and equipment and expanded its activities by increasing the types of caps produced, the volumes and capacities, as well as the markets in which it operates.

Today, Herti produces 2 billion pieces of caps per year, which are used to close almost all existing types of bottles in the production of alcoholic beverages, wine, mineral water, olive oil and medicine, and supplies to more than 60 countries on all continents through its subsidiaries in Romania, Great Britain, France, Germany and the USA.The efforts of the management and all employees in the company are aimed at maintaining high quality, an individual approach to customers, understanding the needs of each of them and consulting them in order to provide complete packaging solutions.

2017 – Establishing the daughter company Herti US
2012 – Establishing the daughter company Herti Germany
2008 – The trading with shares issued by Herti JSC started at BSE.
2007 - Restructuring of the Limited company into a Joint stock company, establishing the daughter companies “Herti UK”, “Herti France” and “Tihert”.
2004 - Herti becomes co-founder and shareholder of Ekopack JSC – Bulgaria.
2000 - Establishing the first daughter company Herti Romania
1993 - Herti is established as a limited company with the common target to produce aluminum pilfer proof closures for spirits.
